Master Michael Jones began his martial arts journey in January 2004 at the Wayne Hull School of Kyuki-Do. Driven by discipline and a passion for teaching, he earned his 1st Degree Black Belt in 2008 and quickly stepped into a leadership role as an assistant instructor. By 2010, he was entrusted with leading the children’s program, where his ability to connect with young students and foster growth became a defining strength.
Continuing his own training while mentoring others, Mr. Jones earned his 2nd Degree Black Belt in 2011. That same year, he took a bold step forward—laying the groundwork to open his own school. Despite early challenges, Escambia Martial Arts officially opened its doors in February 2012, becoming a cornerstone for martial arts education in the Cantonment and Pensacola communities.
Master Jones continues to train under Master Sinclair in both Kyuki-Do and Judo, staying committed to lifelong learning and personal development. He believes that martial arts is not just about physical technique—it’s about cultivating mental resilience, emotional discipline, and a better quality of life inside and outside the dojang.
On November 4th, 2023, Michael Jones was formally promoted to the rank of Master—a recognition of his dedication, leadership, and impact on the martial arts community.
Jessica H. Ingram began her martial arts journey in March 2013 at Escambia Martial Arts. By the end of that same year, she was already assisting with classes—demonstrating leadership, humility, and a quiet strength even as a colored belt.
Her progression through the ranks reflects not just technical skill, but a deep-rooted perseverance:
1st Degree Black Belt – April 2016
2nd Degree Black Belt – November 2018
3rd Degree Black Belt – November 2021
4th Degree Black Belt – November 2025
Throughout her training, Ms. Ingram has faced challenges with resilience and grace. Her continued presence on the mat—as both student and instructor—is fueled by a belief that martial arts is a gift best shared. She teaches with clarity, compassion, and conviction, helping students grow not only in technique, but in confidence, character, and community.
Jessica’s love for Kyuki-Do is evident in every bow, every lesson, and every moment she invests in others. She is a pillar of Escambia Martial Arts—steadfast, inspiring, and deeply respected.
